1. Who we are

3HSF B.V., registered in the Netherlands under 42021120 (KvK), is responsible for processing personal data submitted through this website.

For privacy questions, contact us at [email protected].

2. What information we collect

When you submit a startup pitch, we collect the information you enter in the submission form. This may include your name, email address, startup or company details, pitch description and any documents you upload.

Please do not include personal information that is not needed to evaluate your pitch.

3. Why we use your information

We use your information to receive and review startup pitches, assess their suitability, contact you about your submission and manage any related follow-up.

We do not use your submission for unrelated purposes unless we have a valid legal basis and provide any additional information required by law.

4. Legal basis

We process your personal data on the basis of our legitimate interest in receiving, evaluating and following up on startup-pitch submissions. This includes contacting you by email or telephone about your pitch and managing the evaluation process. We limit the data we process to what is necessary for these purposes and take appropriate measures to protect your privacy.

5. Where your data is stored and who can access it

Your submission is stored in our database and may be accessed by authorised team members involved in reviewing and managing pitches.

We host the website with Hetzner, but operate the website and store or process submissions ourselves, no service providers or third parties have access to the data.

6. How long we keep your data

We retain startup-pitch submissions for up to five years from the date of submission. This allows us to consider startups that may not yet be at the appropriate stage for our programme but could become relevant in the future.

We periodically review stored submissions and delete personal data when it is no longer necessary for this purpose. After the retention period, submissions are deleted or anonymised unless a separate, valid legal basis justifies further retention.

7. Your privacy rights

Subject to applicable law, you can request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate information, deletion or restriction of processing. You may also have the right to object to processing or request data portability.

To exercise your rights, contact [email protected]. You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

8. International transfers and automated decisions

We do not transfer personal data outside the European Economic Area. All data is stored and processed within the EEA, ensuring compliance with applicable data protection laws.

We do not use solely automated decisions or profiling that falls within the GDPR's disclosure requirements. All decisions regarding your submission are made by authorised team members.
